I must admit, before I had cognac, I was hesitant about the drink. I figured it was one of those things that people only pretend to enjoy so they can appear sophisticated. I was dead wrong. On a dare, I opened a bottle and immediately knew I’d been wrong. The smell was of leather and vanilla, of dried figs and caramel. The taste was even better: full and sweet with a smooth, refined finish that seemed to last for minutes.
Lately, I’ve learned of a new cognac that takes my breath away. I’m talking about cognac garnets, gemstones that have the rich, deep color of my new favorite drink. I’m so taken with these garnets that I’ve asked my artisans on staff to create the Cognac Garnet Tennis Bracelet and Earrings, jewelry that features genuine cognac garnet in yellow gold-finished .925 sterling silver. Take one look at the intense color of these gems and I’m sure you’ll feel the same way about them that I do.
This is genuine cognac garnet at an unbelievable price. I was so taken with this gem that I bought every stone I could from the mine where these are sourced — so many that I was able to demand a deal. At these prices, maybe I’m hitting the cognac bottle too hard.
