The Impossible earrings?

A 1920's design with 2020's diamonds

About 50,000 years ago a meteor fell in the Diablo Canyon in Arizona. But not until 1893, did a Nobel prize winner find a miraculous stone in the meteorite. Since his name was Henri Moissan, he called it moissanite. Originally he thought it was diamond but upon examination,  he found it had even better reflective qualities. So the gem world set about finding a way to synthesize this ultra brilliant stone. They found an ethical and sustainable way to create jewelry that was beautiful, brilliant, extremely hard and environmentally friendly. And the final kicker is that since the prices aren’t controlled by a cartel, the stones are amazingly affordable.

So Stauer went to our designer in Italy to create a Renaissance-style starburst earrings with a moissanite stone in a setting encased in 18k gold. Italian jewelry with a stone that fell from the stars. Sounds like a good starting place for a fine little romance.
