My jaw dropped recently, listening to an explorer describe his journey to the floor of the Pacific Ocean. He’d taken a custom-made submarine, which he had to persuade a specialist to construct, 36,000 feet beneath the waves. Down there, he found entire independent ecosystems populated by creatures humans had never seen before.
You don’t need to be willing to travel straight down 36,000 feet to wear the Explorer Watch. But this dive watch does have an impressive water-resistant stainless steel construction, being tested and rated to 20 ATM, which is roughly equivalent to 650 feet, and featuring a screw down crown for when you’re feeling adventurous.
Whether you’re going snorkeling on vacation or swimming in your local pool, or even just stepping under your own shower, the Explorer is the stylish way to do it. The midnight blue face with date window at 3 o’clock is a classic, substantial look.
And, of course, we wanted this timepiece to be a luxury within reach so we’re giving the Explorer a price that won’t take you underwater.
