The crowning achievement for any luxury watch company is the Tourbillon— French for “Whirlwind”. Only a handful of the finest makers can even try to make a tourbillon. There are probably only about 2000 Tourbillons currently in private hands in the entire world even though they have been made for over 200 years, so when we say that this is a rare watch we mean it. Abraham Louis Breguet— the king of all watchmakers—invented this rare movement that counteracts the effects of gravity in 1800. The balance wheel and the escapement are encased in a rotating cage. The one minute cage rotation is visible through the dial. We think a movement so incredibly rare deserves to be put on exhibit.
